Overview

Cajun Claws is the exciting new Louisiana-inspired restaurant concept serving the tastiest appetizers, coldest beers, and freshest seafood boldly spiced to Cajun perfection! Often times, when one thinks of the Gulf Coast area and Cajun Country in particular, images of a slow, sleepy pace of life come to mind. The region has a long seafood heritage and a culture of seafood preparation which is bound by tradition. But recently the region’s cuisine has been influenced by the changing demographics of newcomers who embrace bolder and livelier flavors.

Change has even come to the region’s mightiest of traditions: the traditional Cajun Boil. Diners start by selecting their choice of fresh seafood, typically by the pound or mix-and-matched by the half pound. Into the boiling pot it all goes, as the seafood begins to absorb the Cajun seasoning into the seafood itself. This is where the traditional Cajun Boil ends. The newest step, and the step at which Cajun Claws excels, is the addition of bold sauces chosen to pair with the already-seasoned seafood. The result is an added layer of irresistible flavor from the outside. Great care and consideration must be given to each sauce recipe such that it highlights the seafood.

This winning combination - subtle flavoring from inside the shell and robust flavoring from outside the shell - is what sets Cajun Claws apart from other Cajun-Creole restaurants. And restaurants like Cajun Claws are the reason why this new, enhanced style of Cajun Boil is here to stay.

  • The food was edible but doesn't "hit" if you're craving a seafood boil. The lobster was odd, didn't look or taste like a regular lobster and looked more like a big shrimp or prawn. The lobster rolls were tiny and took up about 1/8th of the plate that was mostly fries. The restaurant wasn't very busy and there were a lot of staff in uniform. We were a large (6 + a toddler) party and spent most of our meal without drinks, while the waitress was very sweet and friendly we thought the wait time for drink refills was odd considering the restaurant was not busy at all and we were prepared to rack up a bar tab. We were there for a total of two hours, and had to find our waitress so we could get the check and despite having a card ready when getting handed the check, it was another long wait for her to come back to take the card. We were charged for soda refills. Respectfully, we would not return. I wouldn't recommend trying the buffet style considering a regular visit was 2 hours and buffet style is limited to 1.5 hours. One thoughtful gesture was that the toddlers food came out significantly faster so we were able to feed her before feeding ourselves which was appreciated, but her Mac and cheese was undercooked.
  • Was very disappointed. The mac & cheese literally tasted like water, They must’ve ran out of cheese sauce and watered it down. The baked clams just had raw breadcrumbs on top.. I wish I got a picture because you could literally blow them off. They weren’t toasted at all. The scallops were good, so I’ll give them credit for that.
  • I went there tonight me and my significant other go every few weeks or so for the past few months. Today we went and ordered an extra large seafood boil way more than we usually do when we received it we found pieces of calamari in it, which we did not order and I personally hate. We don’t like to cause a scene but I couldn’t eat it and it’s not like we haven’t spend hundreds of dollars there. We nicely just asked them to remake it and we were told yes, less than 2 mins later they come back with the exact same seafood boil, cold, as if someone had just scooped out the calamari. We left. This was our favorite place but now we are not so sure we want to go back.
  • Took my mother and my family here, for my mom's birthday. The staff was fantastic. They were very accommodating. They also were able to.manage our 9 person table without issue. All the food and drinks came out quick, and at the same time. So no one was sitting waiting for food while everyone else ate. Would highly recommend this place.
  • We came here for a seafood boil and honestly it did not disappoint. The food was really good, everything was well-seasoned, and came out hot. But what really stood out to us was the service. Our waitress, Roslyn, was amazing. She knew the menu really well, gave us great recommendations, and checked in at the right times. You can tell she actually cares about making sure you have a good experience, which made a big difference.
