Kashi is an absolute delight! This charming Japanese hibachi-fusion restaurant has it all—an inviting atmosphere, creative cuisine, and options that cater to any vibe. Whether you’re seated at their cozy cocktail bar, tucked into a booth, or gathered around a lively hibachi table, the energy is always fun and welcoming. Our group of ladies had the best time here! The hibachi experience was a blast, with plenty of laughter and fantastic food. The sushi was a standout—fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. Pair that with their inventive cocktails, and it’s a recipe for an unforgettable night. Kashi is perfect for a fun evening out, whether you’re celebrating with a group or just enjoying great food in a lively atmosphere. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a mix of good vibes and amazing eats!

Went here for my birthday and the sushi here is absolutely to die for! So fresh and extremely tasty! Their shrimp tempura was heavenly, we absolutely devoured that. Our waitress was also really nice and made sure we were well taken care of. This would made a nice date spot too. I look forward to coming back!

I’m always searching for new restaurants in Rockville Centre. This past week I happened to stumble upon Kashi, a Japanese restaurant located in the heart of RVC. Let’s start off with parking. Parking in the area was scarce. This restaurant has public parking. However, It is a shared parking lot. The parking lot loops around and is a one way, so if you don’t find a spot on the first try, you’ll need to exit and come back in again. Parking in the lot is metered until 6pm. Seating: The restaurant seems to be broken into three sides; hibachi, dining, and bar. We were seated immediately, but I noticed there was a rush when leaving and newcomers weren’t as lucky. The dining room has a nice ambient lighting and depending on what side of the booth you’re sitting on, you can have a view of the entire dining area. We sat directly next to the kitchen. Service: I wasn’t impressed much by the service. I expected our server to be a bit more attentive, given that we were seated next to the kitchen. The wait time for the food was a long. I was still hungry after my entree, but was hesitant to put in another order out of fear that It would be too long of a wait. Food: I ordered the calamari for a start. It was crispy, warm and the sizing was adequate. For the main course, we ordered the American Dream (Rock Shrimp Tempura, Spicy Lobster and Sauce) and Sushi & Sashimi for 1. I was bit surprised that soy sauce was a condiment that had me to be asked for at Kashi. Overall, this isn’t the most memorable dining experience. The food was mediocre, pricing was average and service wasn’t anything to brag about. I can’t speak for the hibachi part, but the dining and the bar make this a cool place to go afterwork with co workers on a night out with your friends.

Going to one of your favorite hibachi spots and brainstorming with the bartender for names of their new fall drink. We taste tested and danced afterwards. “Aki Apple”, invented by Jesse at Kashi in Rockville Center, is a drink you need to experience. There was music playing but I was dancing to my own tune. I was clapping to other people’s good news and saying “praise be”. Listen. This drink creeps up on you and has a good time. You’re along for the ride.

Stunning interiors and an incredible hibachi spot right inside! This place is HUGE, but still gives off that cozy upscale vibe. Perfect for a party or an intimate date night! 😍 We started with some mouthwatering appetizers—champagne sea bass and salmon Asian pear. Sooo good! But the realstar? The yellowtail avocado yuzu taco. Crispy, fresh, and bursting with flavor. 😋🌮 We also got the Land and sea from hibachi entree. It has a complete seafood selection of shrimp , scallop , Lobster tail plus Filet mignon. The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the ambiance was on point. If you’re looking for a cool spot to treat yourself, Kashi is a must-try! 🍣 Featuring : ▪️Champagne sea bass ▪️Salmon Asian pear ▪️Nori Tacos yellowtail avo yuzu ▪️Crazy cat’s eye roll ▪️Yuzu baby yellowtail ▪️Truffle toro ▪️Land and sea Follow @spinx17 for more NYC food recs!
